This is also the most worshiped mountain in Greece, it had many Gorges and was surrounded by Uranus (Heaven). The supreme leader of the mountain was Zeus, The god of the sky.

The Parthenon itself replaced an older temple of Athena called the Pre-Parthenon. It was built by the Athenian empire, because they considered Athena as their patron. It was also the most important surviving building of Classical Greece.

Come and see the great play of Alexander which shows all of his many achievement in his short life, but although it was short he was very successful in expanding and gaining power for the Greek empire. During his youth he was advised by Aristotle until he was 16. When his father died in 336 B.C. , he succeeded him. He had a very successful reign from 336-323 B.C., in that time he was able to end the power of the Persian empire. He died in Babylon in 323 B.C., the city he planned to establish as his Capital.
